We Realized How Well Real Human Conversations Convert Visitors to Buyers
Prior to HelpFlow, our CEO ran digital marketing for a wide range of businesses – including Fortune 500 brands. While optimizing their websites for conversions, they began to test live chat together.
Tests proved that live chat increased conversions, but it became apparent that staffing live chat with dedicated agents that could respond within seconds at all hours of the day was a challenge.
HelpFlow began as a solution to this problem, providing 24/7 live chat teams trained to answer visitor questions and drive sales.

CRACKING THE CODE ON LIVE CHAT
We Finally Figured Out How to Predict and Save Cart Abandons With Live Chat
In addition to answering visitors questions on live chat, we started to see the patterns that lead to abandons. With typical conversion rates hovering at 5%, we realized we could drive massive revenue for clients by converting a big chunk of the other 95% of website visitors.
Through the technology we’ve been building and iterating on since 2015, we can identify the patterns that lead to abandons based on your website data and our eCommerce visitor data set. We use this to refine our chat strategy to engage with visitors a few steps before they abandon – which enables us to save a lot of visitors that would otherwise abandon.
